Happy Holi

Holi known as the 'festival of colours' is celebrated across India to bring in the harvest/Spring season and signifies unity and brotherhood. It's an opportunity to forget all differences and indulge in the colourful fun. It has traditionally been celebrated in high spirit without any distinction of cast, gender, status or race.

On this day, dry colours (gulal) or coloured water are thrown at each other illuminating any discrimination, as everyone will look the same when covered in colours.

Without it turning into a history lesson - the main reason for this festival is to celebrate the destruction of Holika (demoness) and that good will always prevail over evil.

So in light of this festival (for which I wish I could be in India for) here's a crazy, colourful, splatter manicure.
The finished look with Sally Hansen Diamond Flash Top Coat.
Two coats of Natural Collection - White
Various colours used to create a splattered multicoloured effect.

Happy polishing until next time..
