I haven't done anything creative in a while so I thought it was time I stopped being lazy and made a bit more effort to do my nails this week (since my assignments are no longer taking over my life..for now!)

Here's a subtle gradient manicure using a sky blue and light grey shade. It's probably more suitable for winter as it gives off a frosty vibe, but any excuse to use blue ey?!
The finished look (without top coat).
I created this gradient using Barry M - Blueberry and Kiko - 329.
I stamped a fine rose print using MoYou London - Tourist collection 21.

Finished ofd with Sally Hansen - Top Coat.

Happy polishing until next time..
Natural Collection is a brand I've never tried before and I don't honestly know why. Their range is very affordable and they have a wide selection of products. I picked up this lovely bright red for only £1.99 at Boots.
Two coats of Natural Collection - Red Robin.

The shade has a very slight shimmer to it that can be seen under direct sunlight.

Happy polishing until next time..
I'm autumn ready with one of my favourite dark purples. You'll notice I've used it many times before and it's definitely my go to winter shade. I was originally going to stamp on this but it just looked too gorgeous on its own :)
Two coats of Rimmel - Purple rain

Happy polishing until next time..
Happy Sunday bloggers! Autumn is upon us and there's no better way to welcome it than by bringing out those dark plumy shades, one of my favourites being LA Colors - Plum Wine. It's a given that I suck at free hand nail art but nevertheless I wanted to attempt this look again (previously done for Spring).
The finished look. In case you're struggling to interpret my terrible nail art, the red splodges were my attempt at roses!
I've used LA Colors - Plum Wine and Maybelline - Electric Yellow.
Grey dots on the yellow flowers were created using Barry M - Grey 293.

Happy polishing until next time..
Yay I'm back to short and square! As much as I enjoyed experimenting a new nail shape, it was becoming very inconvenient to work with long nails and extremely time consuming maintaining the shape. They were also starting to look very witch like, so I could not wait to just cut them off and go back to square. Keeping it clean and simple here's a polish I recently bought from the Kiko sale (all polishes currently £2.50!) and it's a gorgeous taupe colour - not a shade I usually go for but it makes a great everyday wear.
Two coats of Kiko 319.
Finished with top coat.

Happy polishing until next time..
Janmashtami weekend has come and gone once again and for those that don't know, it's another Hindu festival celebrated around the world for the birth of Krishna. It is celebrated by fasting and staying up until midnight, the time when Krishna is believed to have been born.

A two day festival filled with activities, food, dancing and beautiful Darshan (opportunity to see the deities) is held at the Temple in Watford to celebrate this occasion with thousands of people visiting and taking part in the fun atmosphere. I volunteer every year on these two days and we are given a coloured dress code; this year being blue and pink.

You already know blue is my favourite colour so no problems there, however pink not so much! I've tried to create a look that will match both days with my outfit, so hope you like them!
The finished look.
Two coats of Barry M - Guava and Butter - Dahling
My corresponding sari colours.
Taken with flash to get a clearer image of the nail stamp design created with MoYou London Kitty Plate 03.
OPI Nail Envy - Base coat, Barry M - Guava, Butter London - Dahling, Nails inc - Old Park Lane
and Sally Hansen - Top coat.

Happy polishing until next time..
