Three months later and here I am finally writing a new post...

I want to blame life and say that I've been so busy that I haven't had the time to be both creative with my nailart like I used to, or have the time to sit and blog anymore. But truth be told, I don't think I make time for it the way I did in the past.

It's been almost a year since I started my venture in the Makeup Artist world and client bookings have been taking away a lot of my weekend time, meaning I rarely get any spare time to sit with my nail collection :(

BUT as it's Christmas Eve and in the spirit of spreading joy, here's a little festive nail creation for you all!
The finished look.
Two coats of OPI - Show Us Your Tips.

My blog has been rather quiet lately so I had to make sure my next post was something that required a little extra effort. I had a last few remaining summer water decals by Lady Queen and as we're fast approaching Autumn, I thought I'd do a final end of summer post.

September to Christmas always feels like the fastest time of the year and next thing you know it's 2017! I just can't keep up with all the craziness but hopefully this post will help you say goodbye to summer too...and get ready for all the dark, vampy colours making their appearance.
The finished look with top coat.
Two coats of Revlon - Entice.
Water decals by LadyQueen.
Beautiful minty blue floral printed decals.
Finished off with Sally Hansen Diamond Flash Top Coat.

Day 2 of the festival was a green themed day and it brought with it some heavy interval showers and we got absolutely drenched throughout the day! Nevertheless, thousands still walked through the gates to see the festivities and the Sun found its way in the end. It's always a bitter sweet ending when the festival comes to an end as most of us only see each other annually. Here's to another successful year and until next time :)
The finished look.
Two coats of Kiko 347.
Stamped with LA Colors - Solar Gold and MoYou Suki 07 plate.
The colour scheme for Day 2 was green so this is the Saree I wore, matching my nailart.

Another year, another Janmashtami comes and goes. I've lost count of how many years I've volunteered (I think this was my 9th!) but I can definitely say that this years Darshan was the most beautiful I've ever seen it. The decoration was unreal and they certainly made 50 years of Iskcon a year to remember. If you didn't make it down to the Manor this year then you definitely missed out on the celebrations (and especially the amazing food!!).
The finished look.
Two coats of Natural Collection Red Robin.
Stamped using MoYou Fashionista 07 and LA Colors Solar Gold.
Finished with Sally Hansen Diamond Flash Top Coat.
The colour scheme for Day 1 was red so this is the Saree I wore, matching my nailart.

If there's one thing I lack in my collection, it's satin finishes with shimmer. I have no idea why because every time I wear them, I wonder why I haven't got more. So I picked up a few of these shades in the same collection (not to also mention that all polishes were £1 in the sale!!) This satin finish, caramel beige shade is dotted with micro fine gold dust making it a perfect everyday nude. However, I did feel it clashed with my skin tone a little so I'm not too keen on it. What do you guys think?
The finished look.
Two coats of Kiko 220 Satin Beige
Stamped using LA Colors - Black velvet and MoYou London Kitty 03.
Finished with Sally Hansen Diamond Flash Top coat.

Barry M's coconut infusion collection was launched earlier this Spring and I've only just got my hands on these. They claim to give you a glossy gel-like finish and nourish your nails with the coconut water and oil infusion formula. I can't say that I noticed much of a difference in hydrating qualities but their formula is certainly bang on. It goes on silky smooth with a great shine and it's very fast drying. I'd love to try out a few more shades in this collection.
The finished look.
Two coats of Barry M - Skinny Dip
Stamped using MoYou Tourist Plate 21.
Finished with Sally Hansen Diamond Flash Top coat.

Blue and pink compliment each other so well yet I feel like I very rarely use the two shades together. I really like the way this turned out and the glitter gives it a nice sparkle touch.
The finished look.
Two coats of Beauty UK - Love
Stamped using Nails Inc - Baker Street and MoYou London Fashionista 07 plate.
Finished off with glitter placement and Sally Hansen Diamond Flash Top Coat.

This one's a special one for all you pizza lovers. Yesterday was 'London's largest outdoor pizza festival' (MySlice Festival) and it was one interesting event to say the least. It was a great day out in the sun with some good music, food, games, rides, drinks and of course pizza. However, the festival could've been a lot more enjoyable if the pizza stalls were slightly more organised and we didn't have to wait hours queuing up to get a slice! Nevertheless, it was a fun day out with great company and my nails were definitely festival ready.
The finished look with Sally Hansen Diamond Flash Top coat.
Two coats of LA colours - Plum Wine and Maybelline - White Sail.
Pizza nail art created using dotting tool and striping brush.

Happy Monday Blues! The weekend seems to fly by every week and with wedding bookings in full swing, I miss my weekend lie ins :( Nevertheless, it means I get to enjoy more of the day, especially when it's a hot, summers day in London - so I guess I can't complain.

If you're wondering why I haven't had the chance to blog regularly in the past few months, then weddings are the reason. For any of you new followers or readers that have just stumbled across my blog, probably won't know that I'm a professional MUA and hairstylist too. So if you're into that kind of thing, go ahead and follow my instagram account: mili.makeup.

It's a minty kind of weekend today with this gorgeous shade from Kiko. I've decided to carry on rocking all these bright shades for the summer season, because it looks great on my tanned, holiday skin (and it reminds me of the beautiful ocean blue on my travels to Greece!)

For someone who isn't really a glitter fan, I am absolutely obsessed with this 'Bronze' polish by MaxFactor, It's the perfect top coat for any shade if you want to add a little sparkle to your manicure. The pictures don't do it justice but I've tried my best to capture some sparkle for you all to see.

It's a glitz and glam kind of Saturday today as I really wanted to use my new kiko shimmer shade. It's a gorgeous, luminous golden shimmer and it looks great both on its own and on top of any colour. I didn't know what to expect when I did this manicure but it definitely looks very indiany and wedding appropriate.

I picked up this gorgeous shade of mint by Revlon for just a pound last weekend (usually £7.99) and I couldn't wait to show you guys. It's a perfect spring/summer shade and the pairing up of this purple and stamping design, it created a lovely peacock feather pattern.
