It's time to say goodbye to 2014 with a bang! Hope you all have an amazing year ahead and here are some new years eve nails for you. I always associate fireworks with glitter so here's one of my favourite looks for the night :)

The finished look with top coat.

Two coats of Sally Hansen - Night watch.

The combination of the dark blue and the silver glitter reminds me of fireworks in the night sky. A really simple and quick look to create.

Sally Hansen - Night watch, Disney - Silver frost, Opi - Base coat and Sally Hansen - Top coat.

It's a given that every year I'd wear christmas nails for christmas day, however this year I decided it was time to spice things up and to get the whole family involved. Since we always get together for christmas day dinner, I persuaded all my cousins to take part in painting their fingertips festive, and I would be the judge on creativity! I must say I was very proud that they all took part and put their creative minds to the test, so for me they're all winners :) Here are the designs we all rocked!

Not the greatest photo quality, but here are all the designs.

Red with silver glitter tips and a hand drawn snowflake on the accent nails.

White, red and gold festive nail designs using cheeky stamping plate 6.

Green with hand drawn gold christmas tree on accent nail.

Maroon, green and gold hand drawn stripes for a wrapping paper effect.

Light/dark blue with fine silver glitter and snowflake and merry xmas nail stickers.

Blue with silver glitter tips with hand drawn reindeer on accent nails.

Happy Holidays everyone! Hope you're all enjoying the festive season and making the most of quality family time :) These are the nails I wore for christmas day. I've gone for the traditional festive colours red, green and white to create this look.

The finished look.

I water marbled my thumb and ring fingers using Nails inc - Roland gardens and Sally Hansen - Kiwi bikini (using BarryM white as a base coat).

I then created a gradient using the Barry M - White, Sally Hansen - Kiwi bikini and Nails inc - Roland gardens.

I stamped using LA colors - Black velvet and 'Jumbo plate B'. The design I've used reminds me of dangling christmas decorations.

Finished with a Sally Hansen Top coat.

Sally Hansen - Kiwi bikini, Nails inc - Roland gardens, BarryM - Matt white, Opi - Base coat and Sally Hansen - Top coat.

MERRY CHRISTMAS FROM MILIMANICURE :)

Happy polishing until next time..
Morning bloggers! Today's a rather icy Monday blue by the lovely kiko 654 Anise shade from the March 2014 pastel range. It's a pretty bright pale blue colour, with darker blue sprinkles through it. It's a textured polish and I've used 2 even coats here, however I found it a lot easier to apply than those I have tried in the past. I was pleasantly surprised at its super fast drying time compared with other textured polishes and it's a well pigmented formula as one thick coat could do the job! This is the first time I'm stamping on a textured surface so I have applied a top coat, however if you're a fan of the sand polishes then avoid the shiny top coat for the best look.

Two even coats of Anise.
I stamped using 'Jumbo plate D' and LA Colors Black Velvet. Due to the fine design and the textured surface, it came out more of a dark grey.

Finished off with top coat.
